The Madison County Democratic Women will hold their annual JFK Scholarship and Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 5 at 6:00 pm at the Huntsville Country Club, 2601 Oakwood Avenue Huntsville, AL 35810. The event is named for President John F. Kennedy, whose ideals exemplified Democratic values and inspired generations. This year, awards are being given to several individuals who have made a significant contribution to Madison County Democratic Women and to the advancement of Democratic ideals. The first place scholarship will go to Jordan Cozby, Bob Jones High School senior who is president of High School Democrats of America, will major in economics and plans to attend law school. Second place scholarship will be awarded to Michelle Abreo, James Clemmons High School senior.
