About the Madison County Democrats
The Democratic Party of Madison County promotes and supports progressive ideals and candidates throughout our communities. We are working everyday to turn Madison County blue, one voter at a time. We strive to strengthen public education, help those in need, and build an economy of which we can be proud. Madison County Democrats seek to advance the causes of liberty, equity, and justice for all.
The job of the Madison County Democratic Executive Committee (MCDEC) is to help build the Democratic Party within Madison County; register new voters; assist Democratic candidates at the local, state, and nation level; and to Get Out the Vote (GOTV) to elect democrats. We are working from a long-range plan to recruit, train, and support qualified Democratic candidates at all levels.
We believe in the Alabama Democratic Party principles (https://aldemocrats.org/our-party/principles), especially the belief in the equality of all people, the power of education, the dignity of work, and the responsibility to support our communities.
